Monitoring: Honestly, I use Substack/Medium/LinkedIn/the random related stories that pop-up on Google News at this point. I try to keep alerts and notifications limited.
Product ecosystem monitoring: OneNote and Teams.
Demand tracking: We're using ServiceNow right now but I could see that going away and us using JIRA or DevOps which I've used extensively and would prefer.
Requirements tracking: OneNote, Teams/SharePoint to store standalone documents, Miro, UXPressia.
Definitely, this is the best guide about product ecosystem that I’ve read. Easy to follow and with actionable tips right in place.
Great work, Amy!
Great post Amy. Do you have a favorite tool to track these ecosystem examples?
Great question Mike! Here is my Product Manager stack:
Monitoring: Google Alerts and product-specific newsletters on Cloud, data centers & infrastructure
Product ecosystem monitoring: OneNote and Sharepoint to communicate findings to product team
Demand tracking: Jira or AHA to easily turn demand into requirements
Requirements tracking: slides plus Jira/AHA
What tools do you use for your stack?
