Amy, I love this issue. First because it is a topic that is close to my heart. and Second, I love your analysis. I agree that in the future PMs will be augmented by agents. Great article. Thanks
Thanks Mustafa! I can’t wait for the technology to get us to this future. In the meantime we have a lot to learn about getting the most out of today’s AI tools.
This is a very interesting topic, I am curious if you have seen product orgs starting to adopt this trend today? We actually tried to do something similar with some incubation program but it didn't work. The AI today (even with us super charging it with our data) was not sufficient and was not efficient at all.
Interesting topic Amy. I really wonder if the AI situation is able to do some things where tribal knowledge is key. It seems like those roles with that deep level of understanding for companies with legacy tech will always be of value.
Agree that complex systems will need people to work together on solving problems. With AI agents we will spend most of our time in preparing for and working efficiently with people. Product work is going to be fast and depend on product managers staying on top of potential problems with the help of AI.

I’m seeing the same thing - AI isn’t ready for the future scenario with AI agents that are specially trained to work together on the product team.
The Cube Research estimated that we might have agents like this in 2030. Link is at the bottom of the article.
When this future eventually comes, product managers will need to adapt.
