PMs who aren't using AI are going to fall behind. It has a lot of use cases. I've been using it for discovery, analyzing data, as well as assisting in PRD writing. This is a useful reminder.
Great post Amy. Did you all put in place any kind of "don't use AI unless it's approved" policies? I used it pretty heavily for work through 2023 but based on how generic things were found that it was still better to write myself with an occasional assist.
My organization only uses our enterprise version of Copilot to protect our intellectual property. I've had pretty good results with Copilot in my day job. Copilot has been very helpful in consolidating market data that I use in marketing content and business opportunity background.
I use chatGPT to "discuss" topics for this newsletter. I've learned a lot of new techniques to solve problems from the chatGPT pointers.

Amy, awesome article and could not agree with you more. Love the LI survey, there are so many PMs using AI to do their work. And at the same time, there are so many that are not. Thank you for being such a great guest on my newsletter and for the shoutout. Much appreciate it.

Thanks for writing about how you are using AI in product management! I’m just starting to use AI to analyze data.
